Shopping in Baltimore

Today, after church, and listening to my son’s message in church, the girls and I went to Baltimore for some shopping. One having nothing to do with the other, I should add. 🙂

Traveling along 295 North into Baltimore, we were quickly slowed and stopped by….we didn’t know what. A sea of blue and white. Later we found out:

But M&T Bank Stadium will look, feel and sound like Estadio Cuscatlan in San Salvador — tens of thousands of immigrants and Salvadoran-Americans streaming into Charm City from the Washington suburbs and from the northeast population centers. Some groups arrived from Houston.

Who knew? We sure didn’t. So a thirty minute trip into the city, turned into 2 hours.

Traffic on 295

The first of MANY blue and white colors we would see on our drive…

…along the road…

…in the shopping centers.

My girls posed at Harborplace after some shopping at Urban Outfitters.

Another pose from the 6th floor parking.

It was a crazy kind of day, but it was good for some laughs together.
