Sunset at Whiteman Park

From the rising of the sun to its setting The name of the LORD is to be praised.
Psalm 113:3

The sun goes down everywhere, but some places are more lovely to watch a sunset than others. Often we dash to the beach to watch the sunset but the last few days we didn’t have enough time to get there, so, we decided on Whiteman Park to watch the sunset.

Whiteman Park is an amazing place to me, and Laura liked it too…with its spooky trees and wandering groups of Kangaroos, it’s often like entering another world.

A glimpse of the kangaroos as we road past.

A glimpse of the kangaroos as we road past. These two look they were about to have a competition of sorts.

The trees really are spooky there.

It was starting to take my breath away.

It was starting to take my breath away.

It looked like every part of the sky was doing its own thing.

It looked like every part of the sky was doing its own thing.

I think I popped all my buttons with glee on this wild sunset night, with John laughing at me at how happy it made me to come out tonight.

I hope that Western Australians keep Whiteman Park the natural beauty that it is. I fear that there is way too much growth around it...would be sad to see it go.
