Teething is the Pits

Ah…old memories and new memories…

When Enric was little he used to have a shirt that said, “Teething is the pits”

All these years later, I couldn’t help thinking about him and that shirt while babysitting Rubi­ today.

Silas and Rubi­ have been sick with fevers for a few days now, but Rubi has also been suffering for some time now with teething.

She does now have four teeth that have come in, but two more seem to be trying to break through.

While I was watching her today, she would try to be happy but often the pain of the teeth would get the better of her and then she would be sad.

I couldn’t help though, to get my camera bag and capture these moments while babysitting.
