The Mall and Breakfast at Tiffanys

So John comes home from work, sits in his chair and says, “So where we going tonight?”

Every wife’s dream come true, right? I mean, I had had a long, hot day at home, and wanted more than anything to be in a place that was cooler. I hadn’t even eaten a meal all day- it was just too hot. Even with all that going on, I hadn’t hoped he would even consider going out again, we had just been to Hillary’s last night.

“I was thinking we could go to a different shopping mall tonight, a place we haven’t been before.”

Could this night get better? 🙂

So armed with only my cell phone for pics, we were off to Karrinyup Shopping Centre.

John was just telling me how much I needed a cotton nightie, so I went right in. :)

Well I never found anything 100% cotton and as you can imagine the nightshirts and nighties were kind of expensive. I wanted to remember this place for my daughter who loves both the actress and the movie.

My guess is it’s not always “Breakfast at Tiffanys” as the sign said, “Now Showing.”

So I wonder if they have movies or different themes on a regular basis? In any event, what a find. Fun place!

One thing I had to take a quick snap of is this place for children that this mall and some others have. You tie your child in securely and then they can jump high into the air on these trampolines.

So we escaped the heat, even if just for a little while. John is a very thoughtful husband.

Now if I could only get Deep Blue Somethings, “Breakfast at Tiffanys” to stop playing in my head. Maybe it could switch to “Moon River” for a while? 🙂
