Intense Silas

A few days ago, Mom brought out her old 35mm camera which grabbed Silas’s attention for hours. He studied each button,  figured out how to open things, learned where the film (does he even know what film is?) goes in and where it moves to. He learned how to work the flash, and push the button to “take” a picture. I must also say, he looked a natural with that camera. 🙂

Yesterday, it was the electric pencil sharpener.

This was hours of fun.

He sharpened the pencils, figured out their “Dust” had to go somewhere, learned how to slide out the container where the shavings went, and then promptly asked for my trash can to put them in.

Tons of fun…

…for me too.

I love how Silas gets so “intense” when he is studying something.

The next day he showed Mr. Dolphin the camera and he remembered everything he learned the day before.

🙂
