Surprise at the front door

“The moments of happiness we enjoy take us by surprise. It is not that we seize them, but that they seize us.”

I walked out my door to make a quick trip to the deli, when I noticed a big box on my step.

It was a little heavier than what I expected, so Miquel came out to carry it in.

Opening the packaging revealed a flat panel LCD monitor, something I really did need.

No longer do I have to squint to try and decipher the blurred text of the monitor before this.
No longer do I have to hear people sit down at my desk and say, “How do you read anything on this thing?”
No longer do I have to hear them say, “What’s wrong with your monitor?”

And me? I wasted a trip to the eye doctor long ago, there is nothing wrong with my eyes, it was my crazy monitor for three years now!

And while I read and see all my programs and web pages with crystal clear clarity, I have to remember to close my mouth as my jaw keeps dropping in total amazement on how this works so well, and the generosity and thoughtfulness of others!
